The sale of power tool batteries containing Ni-Cd (nickel-cadmium) has not been permitted in Europe since 2016 due to environmental concerns. Since the beginning of 2017, only Ni-Mh or Li-Ion cells are permitted.

If we do not have a suitable original or replica battery in our range, we can still offer you a so-called cell exchange. In this process we will exchange the cells inside the battery housing. For more information on our cell exchange service please click here: 

Li-ion batteries above 100Wh are considered hazardous materials and require separate handling during transportation. How can you find out if your battery has more than 100Wh? If the battery has 36V and 3Ah the calculation is as follows: 36V x 3Ah = 108Wh and is therefore considered a dangerous good.
